Today the festival of Nag Panchami is being celebrated, every year the festival of Nag Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month, on this date the Nagdevta is worshipped. The lord of Panchami Tithi is Nag, so worshiping him on this day averts evil and brings auspiciousness. It has also been said in the Garuda Purana that on Nagpanchami, all the wishes are fulfilled by worshiping the main Nagdevta including Anant in the house.

आज Nag Panchami का त्योहार मनाया जा रहा है,हर साल सावन मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि को Nag Panchami का त्योहार मनाया जाता है,इस तिथि पर नागदेवता की पूजा की जाती है। पंचमी तिथि के स्वामी नाग हैं इसलिए इस दिन उनकी पूजा करने से अनिष्ट टलता है और शुभ की प्राप्ति होती है। गरुड़ पुराण में भी कहा गया है कि नागपंचमी पर घर में अनंत सहित प्रमुख नागदेवता का पूजन करने से समस्त मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण होती हैं।
