20 Lions drinking Line up, lion up! The beautiful moment all drink in perfect unison - Lower Sabie

STORY behind the magic moment of 20 Lions drinking in unison.br br We saw the lions the previous evening late on 15 Aug 2017 on thebr banks of the Sabie River, about 4km from Lower Sabie towards Skukuzabr Camp in the Kruger National Park just lying on the sand in the riverbr and they did not look like they wanted to go anywhere soon.br br So we decided to call it a day and return to camp. The next morning webr rushed to get to the spot where we last saw them and there was no signbr of the lions I was quite disappointed and so was our guests on thebr vehicle.br br Then we decided to go up the river and start our day looking forbr Leopard about half an hour later we returned towards the Lower Sabiebr camp and suddenly out of nowhere we saw the lions appearing on thebr "beach" out of the reeds and I saw 1 female heading towards the waterbr immediately I had a thought that they might drink but did not for onebr moment think that this signing might turn out that it did.br br And then the magic happened one by one these lions came down to thebr water and filled in the gaps next to each other as they came in Ibr counted them and 19 appeared then at the last moment before the firstbr lioness raised her head the last baby to make the count a full 20br appeared and started to drink. WOW, what an amazing moment on safaribr one to remember in 18 years I have not seen that ever a whole pridebr drinking like this in full frontal view was unbelievable.br br Our guest and we left the sighting in awe and was speechless back to the camp.br br This will become a pride to be reckoned with in the Lower Sabie areabr of Kruger National Park, South Africa they also have 5 large malesbr that is the dominant coalition so a sound and solid foundation is laidbr for all these clubs to secure their survival I will be following thembr for sure.br br The photo was taken next to the Sabie River close to Lower Sabie Campbr in the Kruger National Parkbr Taken 16 Aug 07:30 ambr br Camera: Nikon D500br Lens 200 - 500 Nikon f5.6br br CREDIT:br Photographers: Bernhard & Hennie Bekkerbr Company: Private Kruger Safarisbr www.pksafaris.combr br Please subscribe and tick the BELL! br Many more videos coming your way.
