In a first, rose petals were showered at the Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort on Sunday. The rose petals were showered to honour Corona Warriors, many of whom were present at the Red Fort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also lauded doctors, nurses, paramedics, those involved in vaccine-manufacturing and others for their fight against Covid-19. Watch the video.
