In Jalandhar, Punjab, sugarcane farmers blocked the highway and railway track for their demands. The protesting farmers also raised slogans against the government. The farmers are demanding the state government to clear their dues. MS Rai of Bharatiya Kisan Union Doaba said that if the government does not hold talks with us, we will call for a Punjab bandh.
