Perikatan Nasional will let its chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin discuss the deputy prime minister's post with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, said Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu after a Perikatan supreme council meeting on Sunday.
Ahmad Faizal also said Perikatan leaders reckoned that the Ismail Sabri administration should still be called the Perikatan Nasional government as the coalition had more numbers compared to Umno or Barisan Nasional.
