The 'Bharatiya Kisan Sangh', related to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), has announced a nationwide strike on 8 September. The farmers union has taken this decision in protest against the assurance given by the central government despite the ultimatum to demand remunerative price for the produce to the farmers. Had a meeting with the representatives of all the provinces and discussed the issues related to the farmers.
