Strong river current washed away the kitchen part of a couple’s house situated in a riverbank at Bonifacio Street, Extension, Barangay Robles, La Castellana, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.

In a video shared by Maria Euane Jesa Singson to Manila Bulletin on Wednesday, a man was seen checking the outer part of their house after a nipa was swept by a strong riverflood due to Tropical Storm “Jolina.”

Singson said the couple has been living with their two children.

They were safe during the heavy downpour on Tuesday morning.
