Devotees moved to New Delhi’s famous Jhandewalan Temple to offer prayers to the goddess Durga on the first day of Navratri. The first day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Shailputri, one of nine forms of Goddess Durga. Navratri is considered the most auspicious time of every year.
