Charanjit Singh Channi has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit administered the oath of office to Channi. With this, the first Dalit CM of Punjab has been found. Charanjit Singh Channi is a Dalit Sikh. Two deputy CMs have also taken oath with him. Many Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi attended the oath ceremony.

चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी (Charanjit Singh Channi) ने पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री पद (Punjab CM Oath) की शपथ ले ली है. पंजाब के राज्यपाल बनवारी लाल पुरोहित ने चन्नी को सीएम पद की शपथ दिलाई. इसके साथ ही पंजाब (Punjab New CM) का पहला दलित सीएम मिल गया है. चरणजीत सिंह चन्नी दलित सिख है. उनके साथ दो डिप्टी सीएम ने भी शपथ ली है. शपथ समारोह में राहुल गांधी (Rahul Gandhi) समेत कांग्रेस के कई नेता शामिल रहे.
