Khairy: NPRA has not approved any Covid-19 vaccine for children aged below 12

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin on Monday (Sept 20) said several companies had sent clinical trial information for children under 12 but so far the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) has not approved any Covid-19 vaccine for the age group.
He added that besides the SOP to be enforced by the Education Ministry, the strategy is to ensure that all staff at kindergartens and primary schools including teachers, operators and employees are fully vaccinated to ensure a safe environment for the children.
