Police have detained six members of a family who turned drug peddling into a lucrative business.
Melaka police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said on Tuesday said police first detained a 64-year-old head of the family known as “Misai” as well as his sons and daughter-in-law, and confiscated 7.5kg of the substance worth some RM223,000 from the family’s home at Kampung Hilir, Kuala Sungai Baru in Alor Gajah.
