The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Africa surpasses 8,27 million according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Africa (CDC Africa) and more than 200 000 have passed away.In terms of the number of cases, southern Africa is the region most affected by the pandemic.
