Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Oct 4) that the Wage Subsidy Programme (WSP) saved 2.9 million jobs with an RM18mil allocation since the Covid-19 pandemic started last year.br br As of July this year, there was an increase of 9,500 people being unemployed, hence bringing up the figure of joblessness to 778,200 people.
