Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has demanded the resignation of Union minister Ajay Misra over the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in which 8 people were killed. Akhilesh Yadav said that while Ajay Misra should immediately resign from the post, his son, Ashish Misra, should be put behind the bars for 'deliberately running over a group of farmers'.
