Deputy Education Minister II Datuk Mohamad Alamin Alamin told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Oct 11) that students enrolled in vernacular type schools can still master the national language, citing examples such as Transport Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong and Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Mah Hang Soon.
