Despite the absence of regular skipper Kane Williamson and senior bowler Trent Boult, Tim Southee is confident that New Zealand will be able to put on a good show in the T20 series against Sri Lanka. Southee will lead the Black Caps in the three-match series against the Lankans, which begins on September 1 in Pallekele following the conclusion of the Test series. The 14-member squad consists of three spinners Mitchell Santner, Todd Astle and Ish Sodhi. Wicketkeeper-batsman Tim Seifert, who suffered a finger injury earlier this year, returns to the side.
