More than a dozen councils in Kent are calling for tougher punishments for fly-tippers.br br At the moment, anyone convicted of dumping their rubbish illegally can be fined up to £50,000 and face five years behind bars.br br But such penalties are rarely given out and councillors are now calling for a crackdown from Magistrates.
