Kent Councillors have voted overwhelmingly to introduce charges if you want to dump waste at a tip, despite fierce opposition.br br If approved by cabinet, the council will now make you pay to dispose items such as soil, rubble and plasterboard.br br It comes as 85 of residents voted against the proposal in a consultation, with fears that it could increase fly-tipping.
