AMC Entertainment ($AMC@US) and Sony Pictures ($SONY@US) announced a unique partnership that will see AMC releasing NFTs in conjunction with a major movie release. When “Spiderman: No Way Home” releases on December 16th, the two companies will offer 86,000 NFTs to celebrate the film. The AMC Spiderman NFT giveaway is part of a deal offered to AMC Stubs Premiere, AMC Stubs A-List, and AMC Investor Connect members who reserve or purchase opening day tickets in advance. There’s a total of 100 NFT designs that will be spread across the first 86,000 ticket buyers, specially designed by Cub Studios for the occasion. When customers get an NFT, they will receive instructions in their email, and they must redeem their NFT by March first of next year. AMC stock was down 3.24 to $37.63 at press time.
