Omicron Symptoms: Dr. Angelique Coetzee, President of the South African Medical Association, spoke toMedia Network in which she has told about the Omicron variant of Corona. She said that the virus has mild symptoms and the infected person does not smell or taste. She said- “If you want to know whether it is Omicron, if you cannot differentiate it from the delta variant with symptoms, you can do a PCR test. But you can tell it with the symptoms."When asked how Omicron's symptoms are different from the delta variant, Dr Coetzee said, "In the delta variant you have no smell, no taste, you have stuffy nose, fever, increased pulse rate and Oxygen drops while in Omicron the oxygen remains normal, there is also a very slight increase in pulse rate, no odor, just a sore throat and generally not feeling well for a day."
