AeroCentury Corp ($ACY@US) announced on Friday that it has launched its Gamefi business, a wholly-owned subsidiary known as Mega Metaverse Corp. The company’s first order of business is to release an NFT game called Mano in the first quarter of 2022. What is Mano? It’s a competitive, idle role-playing game that uses the GameFi concept in combination with NFTs and DeFi technology. Using the play-to-earn model, players can collect assets as they increase activity within the game. AeroCentury believes it will be the first AMEX listed company with GameFi operations. The game allows players to build better aIBots. The game will also include a marketplace where users can manage and use their NFTs to acquire additional assets or rewards. They can even sell their NFTs in the in-game marketplace, swap NFTs or set up profit-sharing agreements. At press time, AeroCentury stock was down almost a dollar at just over $35 per share.
