The footage was shared online by the Russian Ministry of Defence, who said: "Command flights of the crews of the Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft and An-30B air surveillance aircraft took place in the Smolensk region. The servicemen completed takeoff and landing, flight along a given route, as well as the work of the crew during aerial photography of the area. Combat vehicles Su-24MR and An-30B are equipped with hardware systems for reconnaissance and aerial photography, which have a practical range of over 2,500 kilometers. This makes it possible to conduct reconnaissance both in the border areas and in the depths of the territory of a potential enemy.
