Many motorists in the Klang Valley were forced to sleep in their cars overnight as the heavy and persistent downpour flooded many roads and made them impassable. Among the affected places was Jalan Raja, next to Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur. This was the scene at 1am on December 19, 2021.
