Nearly two years into a pandemic, it is the last place anyone hoped to be. The number of kids hospitalized with COVID is approaching the peak levels reached in September. There's late word from the FDA that those home antigen tests, might not be as sensitive to the new omicron variant as they are to older strains.This as hospitals, schools, the transportation network and other institutions are scrambling to cope with it all.
