Bill Reeter and shot up beyond repair on the disastrous Namsi mission, 23 Oct. 1951. You can read all about the plane and the mission in the book "Black Tuesday Over Namsi: A True History of the Epic Air Battle of the Korean War" by Lt Col Earl J. McGill, USAF (ret.). It was published in 2008.
