PM Modi has laid the foundation stone of Sports University in Sardhana, Meerut. This university is named after Major Dhyan Chand, popularly known as the magician of hockey. This university will be built on about 92 acres of land at a cost of 700 crores. To attend this program, PM Modi has reached Meerut by road. Before laying the foundation stone of the Sports University, the Prime Minister offered prayers at the Kali Paltan temple in Meerut.br br PM Modi ने Meerut के सरधना में Sports University की आधारशिला रख दी है. इस विश्वविद्यालय का नाम हॉकी के जादूगर के नाम से मशहूर Major Dhyan Chand के नाम पर रखा गया है. यह विश्वविद्यालय करीब 92 एकड़ जमीन पर 700 करोड़ की लागत से बनेगा. इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए पीएम मोदी सड़क मार्ग से मेरठ पहुंचे हैं. खेल विश्वविद्यालय की आधार शिला रखने से पहले प्रधानमंत्री ने मेरठ के काली पलटन मंदिर में पूजा-अर्चना की.
