पहाड़ों में पिछले कुछ दिनों से लगातार बर्फबारी (snowfall in mountains) के कारण मैदानी इलाकों में ठंड बढ़ रही है. सर्द हवाएं चल रही हैं. जम्मू-कश्मीर (Jammu-Kashmir)के श्रीनगर (Srinagar) से लेकर राजस्थान (Rajasthan) के सीकर तक सर्दी बढ़ गई है। मौसम विभाग (Meteorological Department) के मुताबिक, अगले कई दिनों तक सर्दी से राहत के आसार नहीं हैं। पूरे उत्तर भारत में फिलहाल सर्दी का कहर जारी है। राजधानी (Delhi) में ठंड का कहर लगतार जारी है. इस बीच आज के सुबह की शुरूआत आसमान में कोहरे के साथ हुई है. मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक, 9 जनवरी तक उत्तर पश्चिम और उत्तर भारत के तमाम राज्यों में बारिश जारी रहेगी।br br Due to continuous snowfall in the mountains for the last few days, the cold is increasing in the plains.
