India has reported another jump in Covid-19 cases, with 1.9 lakh cases being reported on January 12. This is almost a 16 jump from the previous day wherein 1.68 lakh cases had been reported. The positivity rate i.e. number of people infected per 100 is 11.5. The positivity rate is above 10 across 120 districts.  The Omicron variant tally has gone up to 4,868 cases.
