During his special address to the Health Ministry staff on Thursday (Jan 13), Minister Khairy Jamaluddin told all government hospitals to shift their focus from fighting Covid-19 to also resolving the backlog of some 50,000 medical and surgical-based procedures and eradicating other top killer diseases for Year 2022.
