New Covid-19 cases outnumbered recoveries for three consecutive days on Saturday (Jan 15), with 3,074 new infections and 2,828 recoveries recorded across the country.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah also said the total number of active clusters was now 176, with ten new clusters detected.
Regarding the flood situation, the ministry stated that there were 471 Covid-19 cases among flood victims, although no new cases were reported on Saturday.
