Elephant expert fears a herd at Howletts Wild Animal Park won't survive if they're released into the wild

br An elephant expert is calling for plans to send a herd from Kent to live in Africa to be abandoned...br br Howletts near Canterbury are preparing to release 13 of them into the wild in Kenya - and say they're confident they'll thrive.br br But Keith Somerville, who's a professor at the Uni of Kent, claims it has no conservation value.br br He's also worried the elephants from Howletts wouldn't survive in the wild - and could even pose a risk to humans.
