An artillery shell struck the wall of a kindergarten in the government-held town of Stanytsia Luhanska in eastern Ukraine on February 17, 2022. The town was reportedly hit by shelling from separatist rebels firing across the ceasefire line. The rebel forces accused Ukrainian soldiers of firing first, with residents of separatist-controlled Donetsk reporting shelling and fire from the government side.
