In Evan Lazar's series of offseason questions he discusses who the Patriots Offensive coordinator will be in 2022. The obvious guess is Alabama OC who was the Patriots' OC from 2009 to 2011 before leaving to become head coach at Penn State and then the Houston Texans. He is now Alabama's OC. As far as internal candidates, Lazar points to Tight End Coach Nick Caley who had to know multiple intricacies of the offense given his position.
