The irrigation system improvement initiative aimed at upgrading drainage systems in several areas in Klang is in its final stage of approval, said Charles Santiago.
The Klang MP said that after visiting Taman Melawis where he met with the area’s residents’ association, Klang Municipal Council (MPK) and Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) Friday morning, and stressed that the RM15mil flood mitigation project must be carried out urgently to prevent the recurrence of floods in the surrounding areas.
