The Delhi MCD Bill has passed in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday amid heated debate. Home Minister Amit Shah said the Centre brought this Bill because Delhi is a Union Territory. The Centre cannot bring such a Bill in Gujarat or Bengal, he said, adding that the Bill is “completely constitutional".
