A veteran Hong Kong journalist and consultant for the journalism school at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Allan Au Ka-lun, has been arrested by the city’s national security police. The arrest early morning on April 11, 2022, was over allegations of sedition according to a police source. Au had worked at local media outlets including TVB and government-owned RTHK.
