RNLI puts out its MayDay call - Their volunteer lifeboat crews spent longer at sea (up 14) and rescued more people (up 21) across Scotland. As a charity, they are putting out their own Mayday call. Rescues like the 1,176 around the coast of Scotland are only possible with financial backing from supporters.
