Rescue efforts came to an end on May 5, 2022, at a building-collapse site in Changsha, China. All the survivors who were trapped and missing in the accident have been found, according to regional officials. The 6-storey building collapsed on April 29. 53 people are confirmed to have died earlier in the collapse in Hunan province. Hundreds of emergency workers were mobilised to join the rescue effort. Arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
