MasterChef Australia Fans and Favourites' challenge in this epsiode was Chili Team Relay— With Aldo and Melanie fast-tracked to the immunity challenge, the 20 remaining contestants were divided into four teams of five and tasked with cooking a dish featuring chillies, given 15 minutes each to cook and 45 seconds to transfer information to the next cook. Other cooks were waiting outside the MasterChef kitchen.
