There have been three separate incidents of aircraft landing in India in the last two months, in which pilots had to shut down one of the aircraft's engines in the middle of the flight. In all the three cases, the aircraft had made a safe landing, aviation regulator DGCA has started an investigation into these incidents. According to Bloomberg's report, the three planes in which this situation happened have engines from the same company CFM.
