The Government of Venezuela greets Ecuador on Tuesday on the occasion of the commemoration of the bicentennial of the Battle of Pichincha in 1822, in which libertarian forces, commanded by Marshal Antonio José de Sucre, defeated the Spanish armies, paving the way for the liberation of Quito.
