I animated this video in 1991 as a student at CalArts. It is 100 sand animation. There are a few jumps in the lighting because I animated this over several nights, and had to share equipment with other students. The song "The Black Crow Knows" is from the album "Element of Light" by Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians.
