Johnny Depp was awarded $15 million in damages after his legal victory in the defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard. Heard also received $2 million for being defamed by Depp's lawyer who called her allegations a “hoax”. Depp denied all allegations of abuse and testified that he was hit by ex-wife Amber Heard.
