This year, elections were to be held for 57 Rajya Sabha seats in 15 states, but candidates were elected unopposed in 41 of these seats. And on the remaining 16 Rajya Sabha seats of the remaining four states, votes were cast on Friday for 16 Rajya Sabha seats in 4 states of the country and till Saturday, the results of the states have come out for the 16 Rajya Sabha seats of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana and Rajasthan.
