In such a situation, the Ministry has taken a tough stand on such advertisements being broadcast on electronic, print, social and online media platforms, which encourage betting. Taking strong cognizance of this, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken strong cognizance, as well as has advised all such platforms not to display such advertisements.
