At least five more people, including four children, died in Assam in the last 24 hours due to flood waters. One death each has been reported in Barpeta, Cachar, Darang, Karimganj and Morigaon districts of the state. At the same time, the total death toll in this year's floods and landslides in the state has now increased to 126, at present more than 22 lakh people of the state are still affected by the floods.
