Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos says the DILG will return unused COVID-19 funds to the Treasury Bureau. The Commission on Audit flagged a total of 577 million pesos in unused DILG funds that were intended for the hiring of contact tracers and the purchase of health-related products like alcohol and face masks. He also made another commitment in his first press briefing as Interior Secretary.
