On this day, today, an event called the Bastille Prison Break took place in Paris in 1789. In which a mob of people stormed in the Bastille Prison and took over the arms and amunations present there. This event marked the beginning of an end of an ancien regime of France and also laid foundations for the historic French Revolution.
