Van Der Graaf Generator - album The aerosol grey machine 1969

Van Der Graaf Generator's debut album "The aerosol grey machine" 1969 was originally intended as a solo album by Peter Hammill. When the band signed to Charisma Records, a deal was worked out whereby the album would be released under the Van Der Graaf Generator name, in return for Mercury releasing Hammill from earlier contract.
