दुनियाभर के अधिकतर देश आर्थिक मंदी (financial crisis) के थपेड़े झेल रहे हैं। वैश्विक अस्थिरता से जहां अर्थव्यवस्थाएं (world economies) प्रभावित हुई हैं, वहीं दूसरी ओर भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था (Indian Economy) तेज़ी से पटरी पर लौटी है। वित्त वर्ष 2022-23 की पहली तिमाही अप्रैल से जून के बीच भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था ने 13.5 फीसदी के दर से विकास किया है। जबकि 2021-22 की पहली तिमाही में जीडीपी 20.1 फीसदी रही थी। 2022-23 की पहली तिमाही में जीडीपी ग्रोथ रेट 13.5 फीसदी रहा (GDP growth rate was 13.5 percent in the first quarter of 2022-23) है लेकिन ये आरबीआई (RBI) के 16.2 फीसदी के अनुमान से कम है। इस संबंध में सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय (Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation) ने जो आंकड़े जारी किए हैं
